IMPACT is a group for young people in school years 7-11 to have fun, make friends, ask questions and encourage each other to get to know Jesus.
Impact meets at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon as part of 4LIFE.
Young people are very much part the church family and involved with the 4LIFE service. They also have their own dedicated times when they can chat about what it means to be a Christian and explore the Bible together.
Every other week the young people get together for a chat after the service over some food, other weeks they meet during the service – all aimed at helping them get to know Jesus better.

From DVD nights to BBQs, there are also plenty of Impact socials to join in with – usually involving food! They usually happen twice a month and are great for inviting friends along.
KNOCK 2025
Join us for the the annual Houghton & Kingmoor Church’s youth weekend away at Knock.
In 2025 we will have loads of fun together – with crazy games and activities as well as some time to think about what it means to be a Christian.
This year’s theme is Jungle Adventure, so get your thinking hats on and come up with a fun costume …
Some costume ideas: Jungle party vibes, animal prints … or characters like Indiana Jones, Lara Croft (Tomb Raider), Jungle Cruise, Jungle book and jungle animals
This weekend is for young people in school Years 6 to 13.
