We are most grateful to God and each other for all the prayers and pounds which are given through our parish for gospel work locally, and around the world.
Thank you for considering giving to the ministry of St John’s, Houghton and St Peter’s, Kingmoor. The church is entirely funded by the generous giving of the church family, as we seek to love Christ and make him known, in and beyond our parish.
All gifts are very gratefully received. If you are not sure how best to give, setting up a regular Standing Order is very helpful as it enables the PCC to budget and plan ahead. It also reduces administration.
You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

Legacy
We aim to continue gospel ministry in this parish and beyond for many years to come. Leaving a legacy to Houghton and Kingmoor Church would help to continue this work for the future.
