We are a friendly church family and enjoy welcoming new people and visitors. Whether you are a Christian or have never been to church before, you would be very welcome to join any of our services, activities or events.

We are one church – which meets in two locations – with four congregations. Our normal pattern of services is:
Sundays
9.45am St Peter’s, Kingmoor (morning service with groups for children)
10.30am St John’s, Houghton (morning service with activities for children)
4pm 4LIFE at St Peter’s (a relaxed and informal all age service)
Thursdays
11am St Peter’s, Kingmoor (a short half hour service with hymns, bible reading, talk and prayers)
Partnership
Once a month, there is an opportunity for all four congregations to meet together to hear updates about church life and exciting gospel ministry, and pray with one another. Everyone is invited to come along.
St John’s, Houghton
2-3pm and 8-9pm
We usually meet on the third Wednesday of the month.

Bitesize Breakfast: Saturday 8th March, 9.30am at St Peter’s
Maundy Meals: Thursday 17th April, various venues across the Parish
Easter Monday Fun Day: Monday 21st April, 10am-3pm at St John’s
Church Family Lunch & APCM: Sunday 27th April, 12noon at St John’s
